Q

Database instance forced to disconnect upon creation

Upon creating a database, the error "instance terminated disconnection forced" is raised, and I received ORA-1092, ORA-3114, and ORA-3014 errors. What should I do now?
There are too many reasons why your instance terminated to make any logical conclusions here. The error messages you are receiving do nothing more than to tell you that the database terminated and you were disconnected. They do not tell you why the instance crashed. To know that answer, you will have to look in your database's Alert Log. This log file is found in the directory denoted by your BACKGROUND_DUMP_DEST initialization parameter.
