I have more than 10 years of experience in development in developer 2000/6i. Is there any future in client-server based applications? Or should I switch to a web-based application (i.e. 9iDS or .NET)?

Many apps today are web-based. Most client-server apps that I have worked with have been redone to be web-based. So I would be looking to move towards web-based development if I were in this situation. There is still a lot of client-server apps on the market, but this might be a good opportunity to grow in a new direction.
