Q

Becoming a DBA with degree in engineering/computer science

I have finished my degree in engineering in computer science and am doing now OCP certification. I want to become a DBA.

I have finished my degree in engineering in the computer science department. I am doing now OCP certification fundamental 1. I want to become a DBA. I need your valuable suggestions on how to proceed from now. What are the other areas I should improve?
I would start by reading my recent article, " DBA 102: Beyond the basics," in which I talk about the technical and soft skills you will need to succeed as a DBA. In addition, the best advice I can give you right now is to put what you learn into practice. Download a trial version of Oracle and administer it as you learn it. When you interview for that first position, make sure you demonstrate your desire and willingness to learn.
