Q

Auditing or tracking changes in Oracle 10g

Is there a way to audit or track changes to an Oracle 10g database? I need to find out who makes changes to users, tables or anything at all.

Oracle has a built-in Audit Trail, but you must turn on auditing for those things you want to track. The Oracle documentation is a good place to start to learn what can and can't be audited. Please read the Oracle Security Guide. Pay close attention to Chapter 8, "Database Auditing: Security Considerations," and Chapter 12, "Configuring and Administering Auditing."
