Yes, Oracle 10g can be installed on Windows XP Pro Service Pack 2. I have not heard of any known issues with this configuration, but you'll want to watch things closely. One of the biggest changes that could affect your Oracle database is that XP Pro Service Pack 2 turns on the Windows Firewall by default. This firewall can hamper communications to your Oracle database. You'll want to make sure that people can connect to your database after you've applied Service Pack 2.
